Makenzie Moeller is, by far, the best real estate person with whom we have ever worked. Makenzie listened intently to us when we described what we were looking for. She made it a priority to really understand us and what we were hoping to find in a home. With every home we looked at with Makenzie, we refined our understanding of what we were hoping to find. Always eager to hear our thoughts and rumminations, it became apparent that Makenzie undersood what we were seeking more clearly than we did ourselves. In addition to being a superb listener, Makenzie managed to be very reassuring while at the same time, keeping our expectations in check. The market for homes in the Stony Brook, Setauket / East Setauket area was pretty insane in the Fall of 2021. Homes were purchased within a day of their listing, sight unseen. It could easily have been a frustrating and anxiety-inducing experience, and it occassionally felt that way. But Makenzie helped us realize that there was something to be learned at every point along the way. The result of Makenzie's patience, encouragment and steady guidance was our looking at a 41st home, which turned out to be the one we liked the most. As a first time home buyer I was apprehensive and unfamiliar with the process. I had also had a less than stellar experience with a previous agent, so Makenzie had many hurdles to overcome to win my trust. What is particularly impressive about Makenzie is that from our very first interaction she quickly allayed my fears. She has proven herself to be incredibly responsive, setting up showings for me on a moment’s notice in order to provide me with every advantage in this challenging market. Makenzie was great!!! This has been a crazy year, but in the midst of it all Makenzie sold our home in a weekend and was super patient in finding us another home in the 3 Village area. After contracts were executed she stayed with the process, pushed attorneys helping us navigate the multiple personalities throughout our purchase. Most agents lose interest after the contract is executed, she didn't, on the day of our closing she met us and gave my wife and I a house warming gift. Still 2 weeks after our purchase Makenzie is checking in with us and our family. This wasn't a transaction she brought a personal touch you don't see ever day. Everyone should use Makenzie!!

Every interaction we had with Makenzie while selling our home was superb. From the time of our initial encounter, her advice was always spot on correct. Prior to showing our house, her recommendations regarding minor improvements, wall colors, and staging were enormously helpful and produced highly positive results. She even put us in touch with a great contractor to replace garage windows, an innovative PODS moving/storage contractor, and a terrific packing company to load our household items into the PODS prior to transport. Throughout the selling process Makenzie constantly accommodated her interactions with us. She scheduled showings of the house to adapt to the constraints of our work as well as the process of purchasing our next residence. It is a tribute to Makenzie’s expert advice and considerable input that we received multiple offers (several above asking price) within 48 hours of listing the house. She continued to work with us in the following weeks to expedite the remaining steps- All in all, working with Makenzie as our agent resulted in a totally painless, thoroughly enjoyable real estate process all the way to closing.

Makenzie was exceptional throughout the entire process. Being first time home buyers, we had our worries but Makenzie was always patient, accessible and knowledgeable. She was prompt with her replies and was more than happy to show us listings in a few different towns until we found the perfect place to eventually call our home. When it came time to negotiating our offer, we felt she truly had our best interest in mind and was never pushy.
